Students from Grades 3 to 9 have been involved in the national Hour of Code this afternoon. Activities from https://code.org/learn have students captivated by activities provided. Themes from Mincraft to Frozen have been developed to help young people problem solve and understand coding and associated skills.Mr Drew Roberts has masterminded the operation and he has been support by all associated staff. Teachers and Aides are busy helping with the set up and management of so many on the network all at once.
It is great to see so many students involved and the excitment of students to want to share what they have discovered with me as I come and go from the classrooms. Don't forget to ask about this when your children get home this afternoon.
